How to pick brand colours

Start with one colour you like, then let the tool fill in the rest. A good brand palette has one main colour, one or two that go with it, and a few neutrals for text and backgrounds. Keep it small. Two or three colours used the same way every time look far more put together than a rainbow. If you already have a logo or a photo you love, drop it in and build the palette around the colours that are already there.

Frequently asked questions

Is this colour palette generator free?

Yes. No sign-up and no limit. Make as many palettes as you want.

Can I get colours from a photo?

Yes. Drop in any image and we pull the main colours out of it. Tap one to use it as your base colour.

What are complementary and analogous colours?

Complementary colours sit opposite each other and give strong contrast. Analogous colours sit next to each other and feel calm and tidy. The tool shows both so you can pick the look you want.

How do I use the palette on my site?

Copy the CSS or Tailwind code at the bottom and paste it into your project. You can also click any colour to copy just its hex code.
