Editing a liked idea

How to polish a liked idea until the post is ready to go out.

A liked idea is a strong draft, not a finished post. Open it from your shortlist and you get a full editing surface: caption, hashtags, image and format are all adjustable before anything goes out.

Caption

Edit the text directly, or use the one-tap rewrite options: shorten, extend, punch up the hook, or turn it into a tease. Each rewrite keeps your brand voice settings — it adjusts the draft, it doesn't start over. There's also a conversational AI assistant in the composer if you want to describe a change in your own words.

Hashtags

Suggested hashtags follow each platform's conventions — what works on Instagram isn't what works on LinkedIn. Edit them inline or regenerate the whole set. You can also copy hashtags separately from the caption, which is handy for platforms where they belong in the first comment.

Image

Generate an image that matches the caption and your brand (5 credits), swap in a photo from your media library, or upload something new. You can regenerate as often as you like — each render costs 5 credits.

Platform and format

An idea generated as an Instagram post can be reassigned — turn it into a carousel, or move it to Facebook — before you finalize it. The preview updates to the new format's layout.

Your edits are a signal

Brandmundo notes when you edit before posting. Heavily edited posts tell the AI its first draft missed; posts that go out untouched tell it the recipe is working.
