The posting playbook is a short free-text document — yours to write — describing how your brand likes to post: the voice, the kinds of content you enjoy, and the things you'd never publish. It rides along with every single idea batch, so it's the highest-leverage paragraph in your whole setup.
Where it lives
Settings → Preferences → Brand context. New brands get a starter playbook seeded from their industry — a sensible ~150-word draft you can edit into your own voice, or replace entirely. If the field is empty, a one-tap starter button re-seeds it from your industry.

What to put in it
- Voice — “warm but never cutesy”, “we joke, but not about the work”.
- Content you love — behind the scenes, customer stories, strong opinions about your craft.
- Hard nos — “never discount publicly”, “no engagement-bait questions”, “don't mention competitors by name”.
- Recurring beats — a weekly special, a monthly recap, anything you post on a rhythm.
What it affects
The playbook is read every time ideas are generated and every time your brand moves are synthesised — it shapes both what gets suggested and how it's written. It's editorial guidance, not a schedule: posting frequency and timing live in the scheduler, not here.
