Brand settings FAQs

Short answers about audiences, voice, competitors and your website.

Common questions about shaping your brand profile — voice, audiences, channels, and what each connection actually does.

Voice & audience

How does Brandmundo decide what to post about?

Topics come from what’s actually true about your business: your brand profile and story, your products & services, photos in your media library, and upcoming holidays or events. Batches mix those concrete anchors with proven post recipes, and your swipes teach the deck which ones to lean into.

How do I find my brand voice?

Start from how you actually talk to customers in person, then write it down: pick a tone (casual, professional, playful, direct), and capture the rest in your posting playbook — phrases you love, things you’d never say. The AI follows what you write there.

Who should my target audience be?

Describe your best existing customers, not everyone you could theoretically serve. Two or three short personas ("young families nearby", "office managers ordering catering") give generation far more to work with than "everyone aged 18–65".

Do I have to fill in every setting?

No — onboarding seeds sensible defaults for everything. But the profile is the AI’s entire picture of your business: each section you flesh out (playbook, audiences, brand assets) visibly lifts idea quality.

Channels & connections

Why am I not getting ideas for a platform I use?

Ideas are only generated for channels you’ve switched on. Check Settings → Channels — enabling the platform (and a healthy set of formats) fixes it from the next batch.

Can Brandmundo find my competitors?

Yes — run discovery in Settings → Competitors and it searches the web for businesses competing with yours, scoped to how you operate (local, country-wide or online). Keep the real ones, add notes, ignore the rest.

What does connecting my website actually do?

Brandmundo watches your sitemap daily; new and updated pages become "make a post about this" suggestions on your home screen, each one a tap away from a themed idea batch.

Can I change my business type later?

Yes, in Settings → Business. Changing it adjusts the defaults that depend on it (like the content mix), and future batches follow immediately.
