Brand moves are post recipes invented specifically for your brand — the repeatable formats a sharp social-media manager would set up in their first week working for you. They sit alongside our universal recipe catalogue and make your idea batches feel like they were written by someone who actually knows your business.
What a brand move looks like
A move is a named, repeatable format you could post variations of all year. For a café that might be “Saturday open mic recap” or “bake of the week”; for a consultancy, “client win of the month” or “myth vs. reality in our industry”. Each move knows which platforms it suits, what kind of media it wants (photo, carousel, video, story) and the angle the caption should take.
Where they come from
When you generate your first batch of ideas, Brandmundo reads your whole brand profile — industry, products, story, audiences, location, posting playbook, enabled channels — and synthesises a set of 6–10 moves tailored to it. There's nothing to configure: they're created automatically and start appearing in your batches right away.
Moves vs. universal recipes
- Universal recipes are proven formats that work for almost any business — behind-the-scenes, FAQ posts, before/after, tip lists.
- Brand moves are bespoke: they reference your actual products, your audience's real pains, your town, your voice.
During generation both pools are mixed together, and both learn from your swipes the same way: like ideas built from a move and it shows up more often; keep skipping it and it fades out.
You don't manage moves directly
