The home screen explained

A tour of the home screen and how to read it at a glance.

BWritten by the Brandmundo teamUpdated June 19, 2026

The home screen is your daily starting point: a quick read on where your content pipeline stands and what's worth doing next. It's the same on web and mobile. The top of the page is always there to get you moving; the supporting sections below fill in as you build up content.

The home dashboard with a welcome header, stat tiles, activity charts and in-the-news cards

Capture: Web app home dashboard on a brand with data: a full-width layout — a welcome header card at the top with a 'Start swiping' button, a row of four stat tiles (liked ideas, scheduled, this week, posted this month), then a two-column area with bar charts and an 'In the news' list on the left and Up next, Upcoming events and a setup checklist on the right. Light mode, full-width browser viewport, crop to 16:9.

Welcome header

A short greeting and the one button that matters most: Start swiping, which drops you straight into the idea deck. There's also a shortcut to create a post by hand. When you have liked ideas that aren't scheduled yet, a line here points you to them so they don't sit forgotten.

Your numbers

Four tiles show where your content stands: liked ideas waiting, posts scheduled, how many go out this week, and how many you've posted this month. Tap any tile to jump to that part of the app. They're always shown, even at zero, so you can see your pipeline at a glance.

Up next

A card showing your soonest scheduled post, so you always know what's about to go out. Tap through to review it before it's due. When nothing is scheduled, it points you to your liked ideas to queue one up.

Activity

One card gives you a quick read on your posting rhythm, with three charts you flip between using the arrows, and a dropdown to switch the window between the last 7, 14 or 30 days (14 by default). Posts per day shows the chosen window plus the week ahead — past bars are posts you've published, future bars are posts you've scheduled, with today marked. Posts per channel shows how those posts split across your platforms. Posts per type breaks your published posts down by what they are (product, tip, story, behind the scenes and so on), so you can see your content mix at a glance. Before you have any posts on the calendar, this spot invites you to generate your first one.

Upcoming events

Occasions within the next 30 days — public holidays for your location plus any custom events you've added. Tap one to generate a batch of ideas themed around it. The section disappears when nothing is coming up.

In the news

Recent headlines relevant to your industry, as inspiration. Spot one that fits your brand? Tap Generate and we'll start a batch of ideas themed around it. The section is hidden when we don't have fresh, relevant news.

Finish setting up

A short per-brand checklist of profile steps that make your ideas better — adding brand assets, enabling channels, filling in audiences, and connecting a channel to publish. Items disappear as you complete them, and you can dismiss any you want to skip. Once everything is done or dismissed, the whole section goes away.

Recommended posts

Smart suggestions tuned to your situation: an upcoming occasion worth posting about, a recipe type you've been liking a lot lately, a platform you haven't tried, a nudge when your queue is running empty, or something new we spotted on your website. Each card explains why it's there, and a tap starts a themed batch. Not interested? Dismiss the card with the ✕ and it won't come back.
