Every idea in Brandmundo is in exactly one of five states. Knowing the lifecycle makes the deck, the Posts screen and the schedule click into place.

The five statuses
| Status | How it gets there | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Freshly generated, waiting for your swipe | The swipe deck |
| Liked | You swiped right / tapped the heart | Posts → Shortlist |
| Scheduled | You picked a date and time | Schedule (it leaves the Posts board) |
| Posted | You marked it posted after publishing — or Brandmundo published it automatically on a connected account | Schedule → Sent |
| Dismissed | You swiped left / skipped it | Hidden everywhere |
Moving forward — and backward
The happy path runs active → liked → scheduled → posted. But nothing is locked in:
- Unschedule a scheduled post and it returns to your Shortlist with no date.
- Reschedule moves a scheduled post to a new slot without a detour.
- Restore a posted idea back to the Shortlist — useful when a format worked and you want to remix it.
Dismissed is the one-way door: skipped ideas don't come back (though there's an undo right after you swipe). That's deliberate — your skips teach the generator what not to make more of.
Badges you'll see on cards
- Draft — you've edited the idea since it was generated and it isn't posted yet.
- Scheduled — shows the date and time it's due.
- Posted — published and in your history.
- Channel logos — a post composed for multiple channels shows a small logo for each one, so you can see where it goes without opening it.
- Publishing failed — automatic publishing on a connected account didn't go through. You can retry or post it manually; you'll also get the normal “time to post” reminder.
