Language, time zone and week start

The small preferences that make Brandmundo fit how you work, and why the time zone matters more than it looks.

A handful of small preferences make Brandmundo fit how and where you work. They live in two places: the personal ones — week start, time format and interface language — are in Settings → Preferences, and the per-brand scheduling ones — time zone, default posting action and posting frequency — are in Brand → Schedule.

Time zone

Found in Brand → Schedule. Detected automatically from your device when you sign up, and changeable to any time zone from the searchable list. It matters more than it looks: scheduled post times, “due now” reminders and your weekly brief all fire in this time zone. It is set per brand, so if you run one brand for a local audience and another somewhere else, set each to where its audience is.

Week start and time format

In Settings → Preferences. Both are picked for your region when you sign up (Monday and 24-hour in most of Europe, Sunday and 12-hour in the US), and you can change either one any time. They are personal to you, so they stay the same across every brand you run.

  • Start of week — Sunday or Monday. Controls how the schedule's calendar columns are laid out.
  • Time format — 12-hour (3:00 PM) or 24-hour (15:00), applied everywhere times appear.

Interface language

Sets the language of the app's own labels and menus on this device. English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese are available today. It changes as soon as you pick it, no save needed. This is a personal preference: it doesn't change when you switch between brands.

It is separate from the language your ideas are written in. That's set per brand under Settings → Your business → Content language (or right on the ideas screen, under Content settings), so you can run, say, a Dutch brand and an English brand from the same account — each generates ideas in its own language (English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese).

On the brand's Schedule page

Default posting action sets what the schedule button does first: drop the post into the next available slot, or always ask you for a specific time.

Posting frequency — once a week, a few times a week, or every day — tells Brandmundo how far apart to space posts when it schedules them for you automatically. Both sit alongside the time zone under Brand → Schedule, because they are set per brand.
